Over the past 6 weeks, the team have been listening to the views of people who use Stratford Station and the surrounding area. There have been in-person events at different locations as well as the online consultation. Lots of people have let us know what they think about the plans for the future of the Stratford Station area. The consultation is now closed and over 12,000 people visited the consultation online or in-person and over 1100 people took the time to respond. Thank you to everyone who took the time to take part. We are inspired by the level of engagement. <img src="https://res.cloudinary.com/commonplace-digital-limited/image/upload/v1669200714/projects/stratfordstation/a52de195-924c-4267-aeb2-2bd88fb8cd9d.jpg" /> Among the themes covered, people told us their preferences for which connections for walking, cycling and active travel they would most like to see improved. We also heard views on improvements to the train and bus stations as well what matters most about bridges, streets and open spaces. Lots of people also let us know their opinions on new jobs, shops and homes. We are now working hard on analysing the results and we will be keeping you updated through this site so please sign up for the latest news to stay informed.
